I want to start of this post by saying Happy November! I also want to mention that the goals that I made for myself in October weren’t met (I will link the post here). I had a few family things come up that made me put reselling to the side, which is totally fine. I just need to work harder this month to make sure that I crush these goals to make up for last month. I made a YouTube video all about my goals, but I thought I would mention a few of them also on my blog for you guys!
I slacked so much in the sharing department in October. I wasn’t sharing my closet as much I wanted to and I wasn’t doing as much community sharing as I wanted either. In November I want to share my closet at least once a day every day (I feel like this is a very attainable goal) and share from the community for at least 15 minutes every day. This should be an easy goal to make and should help keep my sales at a decent level. I have noticed that when I do community sharing my likes increase so I want to make sure that is something that I am doing every day.
2. Post Consistently
This pertains to Poshmark, my blog, and YouTube. I want to make sure that I am posting consistently being I feel like consistency is key to keep up with everything and in order to make a routine. I am a person that needs to have everything planned and know exactly what is going to happen and when. I don’t do good with surprises or unplanned events. Keeping a routine and knowing what I need to do and when I need to do it is essential for my business to thrive. I need to focus on getting back in a routine because that is something that has greatly decreased these past couple weeks/ months.
3. Keep Organized
This past month I have been so bad about keeping my Poshmark area and inventory organized. I have been so stressed every time I need to go photograph because there is stuff everywhere and it has kept me from taking photos. If I can’t take photos then I have nothing to list and therefore nothing to sell. Staying organized is something I need to do for my sanity as well as something I need to do in order to stay in business. I am moving in a little over 6 months and I will have a separate Poshmark room (I am working out of my living room right now) so hopefully that will help tremendously, but for now, I have to work with what I have and make it work.
I have a few more goals that I talk about in my YouTube video so go check that out!
Thank you guys for reading this post! I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what your goals are in the comments! Also, leave me any future post idea you would like to see!
